HIME - High Impact Minimum Effort
We focus on maximizing impact while minimizing effort, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

HIME, which stands for High Impact Minimum Effort, related to the 99/1 principle and "Do more with less" instructs us to prioritize tasks that are simple to execute but yield the highest impact. It emphasizes the importance of identifying actions that can be done today with minimal resistance, effectively moving us toward our objectives.

It's easy to get caught up in grand visions, endless planning, and lengthy discussions, envisioning how we can disrupt the future and improve the world. However, these activities often result in a stockpile of documents and little actual progress, leading to what is commonly known as "Startup Fatigue."

To avoid this trap, we use the HIME principle as a constant reminder that the fastest way to achieve grand visions is to make incremental progress every day. By consistently applying this principle, we maintain momentum, focusing on what is most valuable that can be done in the here-and-now.

How to Apply HIME:

  1. List Your Current Goals and Needed Actions: Start by outlining all your goals and the actions required to achieve them.
  2. Evaluate Effort and Value: Assess the value and effort needed for each action.
  3. Prioritize High-Impact, Low-Effort Tasks: Identify the tasks that are easiest to accomplish and have the most significant impact. List these tasks separately.
  4. Take Action: Focus on completing these high-impact, low-effort tasks to ensure continuous progress toward your goals.

By integrating the wisdom of HIME we ensure that our efforts are both impactful and efficient at all times.
