Story

Pubdocs is a free repository of documents, open for public collaboration. Collaborators can upload and update any documents in wikipedia manner, allowing easy public tracking, discussion and voting for changes.

Intention

Our intention it so to foster a dynamic art community with the intention of harnessing the transformative power of art to drive positive social impact and create a better world.

Problem / Solution

Tracking public documents such as government decisions, laws, and agreements is a complex and demanding task, even for experts and lawyers. Changes are often buried in large documents, making them difficult for citizens to access and understand. As a result, society is unable to actively participate in lawmaking and grasp the impact of constantly evolving laws.

Pubdocs increases transparency and awareness of government and corporate public documents, laws, and agreements by enabling citizens to view changes, compare documents over time, and openly discuss modifications.

The secondary aim is to empower citizens to actively participate in lawmaking by proposing, discussing, and voting on changes to existing documents or creating new ones.

Impact

By creating a transparent database of public documents and enabling citizens to actively participate in lawmaking, Pubdocs has the potential to revolutionize the way society interacts with its government and corporations. Increased transparency and awareness can lead to more informed decision-making and better outcomes for all members of society. By empowering citizens to play a more active role in shaping laws and policies, Pubdocs can help build a more just and equitable world.
